Hey everyone, so today, I thought I'd gather just a snippet of some of my work last month, when I kind of had this odd, but also enjoyable creative spiral I had during it. While it was tough to control during; I managed to still pull through, create some fun stuff, learn a little and then keep on truckin'.
Here is a collection of a handful of the several dozens of screenshots I took of a game map inspired by the 1954 Horror film classic; The Black Lagoon, with my own twist to the whole thing. One of the first things I did, was start bare with waters and a few mounds of swamp land. After that, came in all the trees, and this scene actually turned out fluctuating moods fantastically, and managed to do so almost more than any other map I've created color schemes for in a very long time. It was super fun to play with that, and learn a bit more about lighting in the process. While not perfect, I became super happy with it, I still am, and regardless of the harder time I had that month, it was still a lot of fun, and I'm glad I learned from it all during.
Hope you like it, most screenshots were taken in game, but some were taken in editor. Appreciate every single one of you on here, and much care, gratitude and heart - Connor J. (Have a great weekend everyone- a screen album will release of both Wolfthorn's upcoming demo and my wasteland stream project will show up soon too - super excited for that).
